FAQ's

Are all products safe for newborns? 

We always recommend you consult with your child's pediatrician to be 100% sure. All of our products are meant to be used early on in your baby's life with the exception of Rich Cheeks Diaper cream. Rich cheeks has Blue Tansy and while there is no link to any potential danger, we advise that you ask your pediatrician before using it on a baby under 8 weeks old.  

My product arrived melted. What should I do?

This is likely due to the heat in summer months or sitting outside in direct sunlight. If this occurs, place it in the fridge right side up for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. You're welcome to give it a good mix prior to placing it in the fridge. Don't worry about anything being compromised as the nutrients in each product are still as effective as ever. 

Do you accept returns? 

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns. We pay attention to detail and want you to be satisfied. If you experience any issues with your products, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@bebecitobotanicals.com so we can assist you.

What if I'm allergic to nuts? 

We do not work or formulate with Peanut Oil or Almond Oil and our butters are refined, but we always recommend doing a patch test to be sure safe!

Which product treats eczema? 

Shea Mami and Bebé Karité are great at providing relief due to the healing extracts and high omega fatty acid butters, but they do not treat it. While consistent use has been known to keep flare ups at bay, none of our products are meant to cure any disease or condition and should not be used as a substitute to seeking medical care. 

Do you use Fragrance? 

No. Synthetic fragrances have been known to cause endocrine disruption. All of our products are lightly fragranced by essential oils that are playing more of a healing role rather than for scent. 

Do you use preservatives? 

As of now, all our formulas are anhydrous and therefore do not require any preservatives. We do not use water, fragrance or fillers. While our products probably don't taste great- if your Bebecito decides to taste test anything- it is totally fine!
